Bootstrapping In America is tastytrade's spotlight on the best and brightest of the entrepreneurial community in Chicago and beyond. Meet the innovative men and women leading the companies featured in this week's episodes!

Jeff Ellman & Michael Krasman, Co-Founders | UrbanBound
These two serial entrepreneurs have created software that almost every company in the country wants to use. UrbanBound has grown from seven to forty-five employees and is planning to grow to ninety before the end of the year.  What do they do? They have web-based relocation management software that helps companies offer a comprehensive platform to their newly hired and transferring employees. Why didn't I think of that?

Employees relocating get off to a better start if they have everything secure in their lives.
— Michael Krasman

Phil Walters, Co-Founder | B. Hospitality Co.
Phil Walters is a native of Iowa Falls.  He entered the food service business as a line cook at a local restaurant at the age of thirteen. After traveling around the country gaining back-of-the-house experience at a variety of restaurants, he settled in Chicago, where he now co-owns four highly-rated eateries. Balena, The Bristol, newly opened Formento's and Nonna's are considered some of the very best places to eat in the city.

The restaurant business is a good business if you treat it like a business.

Chris Cain, Partner | Foley & Lardner LLP
Chris Cain is a partner at the law firm of Foley & Lardner.  He is also a co-founder of Catapult Chicago, a co-working space for startups.  He works with several startups, advising and assisting them on their legal problems.  He is unique in the fact that he knows what entrepreneurs are experiencing at various stages of their journey...maybe that's why so many flock to him.

The first task is to get them (startup entrepreneur) to tell you as much as they can about the company.

Tony Klausing, Co-Founder | FanPay
Tony Klausing has a burning desire to help student athletes receive compensation.  He co-founded FanPay with this in mind.  FanPay is the first crowdfunding site for gifting monies to athletes at colleges and universities around the country.

We believe there is a lot of unrest out there regarding the NCCA.
