Bootstrapping In America is tastytrade's spotlight on the best and brightest of the entrepreneurial community in Chicago and beyond. Meet the innovative men and women leading the companies featured in this week's episodes!

Katie Hench | Infiniteach LLC
Katie Hench is the Chief Executive Officer of Infiniteach LLC, an autism innovation company.  Her brother was diagnosed with autism at the age of six, which later led her to start the company, which is changing the educational landscape for children with this affliction. The company leverages personal experiences, educational background, and professional expertise to change the educational landscape for children with autism around the world.

One in sixty-eight children are diagnosed with autism.

Dr. Roy Smythe | HX360
Dr. Roy Smythe is the CEO of HX360, as well as the Chief Medical officer of Avia Health Innovation.  Dr. Smith is also a thoracic surgeon, scientist, and innovator. He has published more than 300 manuscripts, articles and essays in biomedical investigation and clinical delivery.  Both HX360 and Avia are dedicated to improving innovative healthcare delivery systems.

The way that care is twenty years, it will bankrupt itself.

Josh Katt | Kitchfix
Josh Katt is the CEO & founder of Kitchfix.  The company has three streams of revenue; ready-to-eat meals delivered to your work or home, a line of packaged granola & beef jerky snacks, and a catering service.  After only two years the company makes over 2700 meals a week, while Whole Foods and Mariano's carry the granola and snack lines. I would say Josh is killing it.

We talk about new recipes, we want what sounds good to us, and what’s craveable to me.
— Josh Katt

Orazio Buzza | Fooda
Orazio Buzza is the CEO & founder of Fooda. The company is self-described as a 'virtual office cafeteria' that brings food from local restaurants to employees while at work.  In the past two years they have expanded into New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Boston.

We we first started, we had a hard time raising funds because food tech was not a hot space two years ago.
— Orazio Buzza
